I have been in a particularly geeky mood lately. This is evidenced in my beginning to learn ProLog (a programming language) and my sudden interest and increasing use of Lynx. Linx is a text ONLY web browser. No graphics, no flash, and NO POPUPS! if you are looking for info from a website Lynx is the way to go. I often go to Google news and a number of other news sites with Lynx and read away. The pages load extremely fast since there are no graphics. Navigations is extrememly simple and only takes a few minutes to adjust to. The link below will take you to a page offering information and downloads for Lynx. Try it out. Text browsing is an interesting alternative to being constantly bombarded by ads and images.
