Sister Hazel In Tampa - AGAIN!

Sister Hazel will be in Tampa again on September 9th, 2005 at Channelside. It will be a free show at 9:10 PM. I hope to be there and will be if everything falls into place. BONUS!!! if things do work out I will be taking my kids to their first concert.

Another Hurricane

Katrina spins across the Everglades as I type. We don't expect much from Katrina other thatn a goodly amount of rain over the weekend. She is at present a weak storm and not much of a threat to this part of Florida. Still we do have some extra water on hand as well as some propane for our camp stove. Hopefully we won't have to use them and will use them later to go camping.

I might be getting old if...

Well this must be a sure sign of the apocolypse. My oldest son is shaving. He is only 14 and NEEDED to shave. During our visitation we stopped and got some shaving gel and a Mach 3 Razor. As I was instructing him on the finer points in shaving I took a quick pic on my phone which is below. 14 seemed a little early but at at 15 I had a moustache and by 16 I had a full 'Stache and Beard. I regularly passed for 26-28 at 16. Ah well I am not that old and my sons will probably be just like me in the hair department (I am a fur bearing varmint).
